Document Control

Projects can generate vast amounts of information and documentation. Good document management is therefore vital to ensure that all relevant parties have access to the right version of the right document at the right time.

The Document Register tool provides document issue and version control. Access to the document (or ‘package’ of documents) is controlled by the manager adding workspace member names to a subscriber list. Only these people will have access to this document. The subscriber acknowledges viewing of the document the first time the record is opened. The acknowledgement is added to a ‘viewed by’ list, thus ensuring compliance through co-operation.
